There was a point in time where Michael Scott ended up leaving Dunder Mifflin in pursuit of his own company. David Wallace was not communicated enough to fit Michael’s needs so he decided to leave in thus “Michael Scott a Paper Company” was born. Michael knew that he could not do it alone. After he put in his two weeks notification, he tried recruiting workers to leave the company as well and continue working for him. At first, it seemed that no one was following after Michael’s footsteps. A shocking twist was added during this episode when Pam Halpert decided to quit Dunder Mifflin and work for Michael. Jim (Pam’s current husband) tried fighting her against it but eventually supported her decision. Ryan Howard (played by B. J. Novak) also joined the new company. The Michael Scott a Paper Co. almost went under until they took one of Dunder Mifflin’s biggest clients. They soon to begin taking more and more of Dunder Mifflin’s clients which worried CEO David Wallace. CEO Wallace was not aware that Michael’s company was running out of money and would soon be bankrupt. CEO office made them a deal with higher salary, more benefits, and all of their previous jobs back in order to put a stop to losing clients.
